Dota TI5 immortal scammer since June.

So my bf just got scammed today. RIP moonshine & night stalker rare set & other immortals he claimed he ‘doesnt need’.

Scammer is http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198155025397 so beware and report.

He wanted to trade for SF arcana. So what happened was he checked steamrep but no reports loaded, so he thought it was safe. He got blocked right after he gifted his shit to the scammer. Items were still wrapped when I checked the scammer’s profile, and minutes later they get unwrapped and gifter’s name was removed.

The arcanas were all for show. After some searching, the ones scammed fell for the same trick. Gift TI5 immortals for arcana, he puts the arcana on trade, and when he gets your stuffs he cancels trade, blocks you off. Goodbye immortals. Lookit dem scammed arms & moonfalls. :Qscam1

And after shit happens, steamrep decided to load past reports. He’s been scamming since June. How the fuck is he still not banned from trade after multiple reports on steam since June lel. Google search the scammer’s ID, and the results..

Steam pls. So yes you can blame it all on him for trading, steam wont give the items back, blabla, but I would actually think a system to prevent scamming is better. It would be nice to have a temporary trade ban for people reported for scamming, review it and remove/keep the ban. People are just gonna keep getting scammed. And I think they didnt even review the tickets..? Must’ve been too many of it and which is why they need something better to manage and prioritize..? Oh well. I have no rights to criticize anything about how steam works since I’ve just gotten into it last year perhaps. Still it kinda annoys me that they will just outright say they will not return the items, as if they are already planning from the start to not bother about scammers because it’s “completely not their fault”.. reading the scam policy is basically “Serves you right for not looking after yourself doode.”
